How We Began: A Journey of Love

Sacred Outlaw Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit regenerative refuge for rescued farm animals and a space where healing extends to the land itself. We’re building a safe haven for goats, sheep, chickens, cows, horses, and other beings rescued from abuse, neglect, and slaughter. Our mission is rooted in love, land stewardship, and second chances—for the animals and the earth.

The vision began with a lifelong bond to animals and a deep connection to the natural world. Our founder has been vegetarian since 2008—not because it was trendy, but because it never felt right to consume what she loved. That quiet instinct grew into a purpose: to protect the beings most often overlooked and to create a space where they, and the land beneath them, could truly heal.

We haven’t opened our gates yet—but the path forward is clear. We're currently raising funds to secure 10+ acres in Colorado with an existing home for on-site caretakers, shelters, fencing, and enough land to implement holistic, rotational grazing practices that restore the soil while supporting the animals. This isn’t just about rescue—it’s about regeneration, restoration, and reclaiming what it means to live in right relationship with the earth.

As we grow, we plan to offer regenerative land consultation and workshops for local farmers and ranchers who want to implement ethical, sustainable grazing systems. We also aim to adopt out our animals to aligned families and farms—places committed to giving these beings the freedom and safety they deserve.

With your help, we can bring this vision to life. Whether you donate, volunteer, foster, partner, or simply share our story—you're helping build something sacred from the ground up.
